sdl-gfx
when trying to compile sdl_gfx for AMD64 one might encounter asm bugs. running configure with --disable-mmx solves that

whenever i encounter a computer related problem (mostly linux, programming stuff) and succeed in fixing it i post it here ... so that search engines may find it and there is some chance it helps someone.
